The Greenwich Wind Farm is a proposed wind energy project which will be constructed on Crown land, partially within the Township of Dorion and partially in unorganized territory, in the district of Thunder Bay. The site is located approximately 75 kilometers northeast of the city of Thunder Bay, Ontario.
The proposed Greenwich Wind Farm will generate approximately 100 megawatts (MW) of electricity, enough clean, renewable energy to power around 30,000 typical Canadian homes. The project will be connected to high-voltage transmission circuits located approximately 15 kilometers away from the center of the project site. Existing logging roads and trails provide access to the site and a good framework for future construction and maintenance road networks.
