BRINGING THE BENEFITS OF CLEAN ENERGY TO CANADA
To keep pace in a world with changing priorities, Renewable Energy Systems Canada (RES Canada) and its affiliate, RES Americas, are “Powering Change.” A fully-integrated wind energy company, RES Americas develops, constructs, owns, and operates wind projects across the United States and Canada. RES Americas and RES Canada are leaders in the energy industry and will continue to lead as our continent embraces wind energy as a mainstream source for powering the future.
The Ontario government has made the development of clean, affordable and sustainable sources of electricity a top priority. RES Canada also recognizes the importance of renewable energy and, for this reason, is moving forward to develop the Greenwich Wind Farm
The Greenwich Wind Farm site has a strong wind resource, is located close to the electrical grid, and enjoys public support in the Township of Dorion, where part of the project will be located. Wind power projects create jobs, provide a boost to the local economy and are a valuable source of property tax income for local and provincial governments.
